  Do not come here if you need immediate care. i fractured a vertebrae and went to the emergency room. The doctor there just gave me pain medication and told me to follow up with Emerg Ortho in a couple of days. it was 10 day until I could get an appointment. I called them and told them the meds were making me sick and they said they couldn’t do anything until I saw the doctor. I finally get in and I am seeing the P A. She orders a brace for my back. (by the time I get it, it has already been two weeks since my injury) She tells me I may be a candidate for kyphoplasty. I tell her I want to talk to my husband first. I call back the next day to schedule a consultation appointment and they tell me someone will have to call me back. It took her three days to call me back and tell me she was still working on it. I called the office manager to tell her this is not acceptable. I had to leave a message and she has not called me back yet. I called Ortho Carolina in Charlotte and they made an appointment for me on the spot with one of their doctors that does this procedure. Done with Emerg Ortho

  Enjoyed my short time there. Was called for a count on the same day my grandfather passed away out of state. Required me to be out of town awhile. It was a big decision to make but I made the right one. Needless to say I'm dealing with the pain with exercise but some days it seems to hurt more than it helps. They were really the first doctor's try to help me. I am not very knowledgeable of my back issues so that being said I give a good rating I would of liked more communication. Just seems I stay confused with my pain. Some days are good some days are horrible I've never really got answers for that. Seems like it would be easier to go get help when you need in apposed to round the clock 12 months a year. I run into that a lot. More options other than pills would be nice to at least hear about. I do get what people are saying I think doctors are quick to judge. I have the utmost faith in them. With research I may have to much especially when I realized that nobody can judge your pain but you I have thought for the longest time that the doctors really could but I know they really just make opinions based on... Who knows. I wish everyone the best there. People shouldn't be complaining if you sign a contract. I choose to be with my family other than following my contract and I'm willing to live with that decision.
